When my daughter told me she wanted to get married at an outdoor park but have an indoor reception nearly 30 minutes away, I was trying to figure out the logistics of that. It ended up being a very small affair where she only invited 69 people, so there were around 77 total including the bridal party. Instead of everyone driving their own vehicles between the two places, I asked her if she had considered transport services in Singapore. I knew that there were companies that transported larger amounts of people via buses, so I looked a few up to see if this was an affordable option.
I was able to fill out a form at some of the sites, and all of them got back to me in a timely manner. That is where the similarities ended. Some of the prices were really high, much more than what we could afford for such a short time. There was one company that gave us a great quote though. We would be able to use two of their buses to transport up to 80 people between the two sites. We knew that this was an offer that we just could not pass up.
We decided to have everyone meet at the reception hall an hour before the wedding. The two buses would take all the guests to the wedding site, where my daughter and her bridal party would already be. Though they would ride back to the reception site with us, they wanted to be there before the guests arrived. This turned out to be not only economical but fun too. We had so much fun on those two short rides, and it just added to the memories of the entire day. I thought it would be a logistical nightmare, but it turned out to be extremely easy thanks to St Lee Transport’s help.
